Just before weekends, PA managed to introduce a new plausible theory that could be a bitter truth for all the fans waiting for Droid Bionic.
Summarizing the lengthy post of the mobile site, it appears the problem of Droid Bionic originated ever since it was revealed during the CES event last January, in which Moto finds out there were bugs on its RF performance and have a couple of issues in terms of “overheating”. This problem still continued until the revelation of Atrix last February.

Aside from that, the real “nail to the coffin” arrives when Motorola saw its planned Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU for Bionic won’t work with its baseband chip that support CDMA, EVDO and LTE networks only – as you can see, it appears, Tegra 2 is meant for GSM / AT&T devices at this moment.
To make things even worst, the poor sales of Motorola Xoom last March gave the impression about Moto to “pull the plug” out from the Droid Bionic nee Etna smartphone, which is expected to have its release date this quarter.
In a final attempt to make everyone happy, our pundits believe Moto may still push Droid Bionic after the Targa a.k.a Droid X 2, on Q3 – until they figure out a solution for its issues. Your best bet? Try not to get your hopes too up with the release of Droid Bionic; for all we know, Droid X 2 holds a powerful specs better than Droid Bionic, running a dual-core CPU, 13MP camera and 4.3 qHD display.

As usual, Verizon still has no comment about this issue. How about you?
