Motorola is still keeping mum about the details of Motorola Droid X2. We heard a couple of rumors about this upcoming Android smartphone and they sound good – but not enough according to some gadget critiques. Well, surprise surprise. New information (plus leaked images) were uncovered about Droid X2. It is slated for a Q2 release so we’re expecting that more leaked details of this kind will happen.

As you can see in the image above, the purported Motorola Droid X2 will still sport the physical buttons at the lower portion of the phone. As reported by Androidcentral, the Droid X2 will be having Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS, HDMI port, microUSB, 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash setup plus the words “HD video” which resembles like the previous Droid X model.
We’re still not sure, either, if the upcoming Motorola Droid X2 model will have 4G/ LTE feature but of course, Motorola might be brewing something special for its Droid handset. There could be a lot of changes happening at the Droid X2′s innards so better stay tuned for those.
Meanwhile, check out the previous specs (rumored) the Droid X2 would have:
- NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor
- 1GB RAM
- QHD LCD Display – 540 x 960 Resolution
- New Moto Blur
- FM Radio
- No Hardware Camera button
