It must be punishing enough if you’re having a hard time choosing between two smartphones that you’d really like. In choosing one over the other, it’s good to look at what they really offer that gives the so-called edge. Such case may apply to Motorola Droid X2 and Droid Bionic.

The Droid X2 runs on Android 2.3 or Gingerbread to be precise. It comes equipped with a 1 Ghz dual-core Tegra 2 processor. Display is provided by a 4.3-inch qhigh-definition screen. It also comes with an 8 megapixel camera at the rear which can provide 720p high-definition recording. There’s also the usual support for HDMI.

Technically, the Droid Bionic is said to pack the same features as that of the Droid X2. It also runs on Android 2.3, sports a 4.3-inch display and has the dual-core Tegra 2 processor. Its only difference with the Droid X2 is that it will have the 4G LTE support from Verizon and there’s a front facing camera.
Both handsets are to be carried by Verizon. The Droid X2 is said to be available the 26th of this month. The Droid Bionic is rumored to be released a few weeks after the Droid X2. In terms of price, the Droid X2 may be cheaper since it doesn’t have 4G support.
