It was last year when we first heard the confirmation that 2K Games and Gearbox will be resurrecting the 14-year old Duke Nukem Franchise out from its majestic grave, to once again let the future generation know what it feels like to be the real “Duke”.
I must say the team really made an effort to entice the gamers on wanting to get Duke Nukem Forever; however, after its beta release that recently started this month, we got the impression the game may not really live with the expectations of the players. I’m not only talking about the new players here, but also for those veteran Duke Nukem players of the early nineties who can differentiate the experience they have on playing Duke before and its revamped sequel today.

Likewise, we aren’t wrong with this hunch, and recently today, some of the gaming sites have already revealed their reviews for DNF and the score is hanging on the 7 / 10 mark, in which guardian gave it the lowest score (currently) of 2 / 5 – AusGamers with 5 out of 10.
Interestingly, it appears Pirates are on their business again and even before its official release date on June 14, DNF’s Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC versions are already uploaded on TPB or your other favorite torrent sites. Likewise, this type of news isn’t really surprising since Crytek, Activision, Ubisoft, etc. knows this is a part that couldn’t be avoided.

If you’ll ask me, the problem with DNF isn’t really about its graphics or technical details but rather, the whole experience making it deconstructed from the old Duke that we do know.
