Great news to all photography enthusiasts around the Globe. Epson has recently unveiled the latest of its Stylus product series – the Epson Stylus Photo R2000. It is a 13-inch printer that utilizes the new pigment printing technology – including the patented MicroPiezo print head with AMC and Epson UltraChrome Hi-Gloss 2 Ink – to produce more vivid and glossy-looking photos. Additionally, theĀ Epson Stylus Photo R2000 has a large cartridge capacity allowing up to 50% more printing capability than the R1900 model. It offers ease of printing from home office data transfer via media handling such as USB and PictBridge, as well as WiFi and Ethernet connectivity that can be printed to a wide range of papers including art boards and canvass, fine art and photographic media.
Aside from the MicroPiezo technology, the R2000′s eight-color ink set has an enhanced gloss optimizer that constitutes smooth photo finish along with Accuphoto HG screening technology that guarantees image quality even when printing in fast speeds. Epson Stylus Photo R2000 can print up to 120 plain paper sheets and up to 30 photo paper sheets at a maximum print resolution of 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi.
Weighing at least 27.5 lbs and has dimensions of 24.5 x 12.8 x 8.6 inches, Epson Stylus Photo R2000 is available for purchases starting May 2011 at $499.99 through authorized Epson resellers. It includes one year warranty of whole-unit exchange and technical support.
