As if Facebook isn’t spammed with irrelevant information, they’ve added a new feature that will allow its users to ask a particular question, obtaining feedback from any person around the world. Technically, it will be like a thread seen in forum sites.

The difference is that this “Ask this Question” tool does not necessarily revolve around public inquiries. It would focus more on soliciting recommendations from other FB friends.
It’s not your typical open ended or close ended questionnaire. It’s actually versatile as Facebook placed an option wherein users can create a poll with limited answers. If you’d rather keep it simple, you can just ask away and wait for feedback. There’s also a comment section for conversations or arguments that require long discussions.
Upon responding, each option would reflect which is more favored, and those who participated. So that other users would be able to see the results of the poll so far. In a nutshell, Questions work like this: Ask a question, a poll framework would come up in your friends News Feeds, and they can simply click to vote whatever answer they choose, or add their own.
After almost a year of beta testing, the tester had already been integrated. As of the moment, this new feature is only available in English. You can start using the feature, even through the news feeds and the profile pages.
