And speaking of Farmville, Zynga the developer of this popular farming social network game that is available not only through the social networking site, but also as an app on the Apple iPhone has started rolling out access to the extension of this popular game called the Farmville English Countryside.
Apparently, this game extension promises newer crops, faster mastery times as well as sheep breeding or basically British-only plants and animals. Some of the plants and crops included in this game are foxgloves, redcurrants and King Edward potatoes. There are around forty-four million Facebook users that have downloaded this game and play it regularly with their friends on Facebook from all around the world and more than forty five million active players that are spending their time in creating digital farms, trade goods as well as invest in virtual tractors on a day-to-day basis.
This is actually the first time that its game developer Zynga has made a specific country version of this game. And apparently this version also includes several new features like traditional police call boxes and British animals such as cows, horses and Dorking chickens. Aside from the pause issue, players are also complaining about the sudden increased in prices for the items in the new expansion as well as the inability to take items from your old farm to the new farm. Well, Zynga must do something about these issues if they want to keep their active Farmville players if they want to keep profits rolling in. So let us wait and see what Zynga will be doing in order to address the issues raised against this new countryside version.
