If you have a social-savvy friend who’s living on the land of the rising sun and you want to impress her, perhaps this news about the arrival of Farmville on Japan might perk her up!

Coming from the gamingsphere, its parent company Zynga will be launching Farmville and instead of just having the ability to play it on Facebook it would be revealed on Japan’s hit social-networking site ‘Mixi’ and it will be available as well on mobile units of our Japanese friends. So far, it was said that all of the languages from the original Farmville has been localized to be compatible for Japanese users and this one was made possible through the joint-venture of Zynga and Softbank (raising an investment of 150M USD). By the way, this one is rumored to have a release date on the earlier part of this month.
As for the latest news for Zynga, it’s planning for a new project said to be bigger than Farmville and it would be called as CityVille whereas it’s a combination of Monopoly, Sims and Farmville all done on the city. Let’s see how this one goes from here!
