One of the best browsers we have today as far as performance is concerned is Mozilla Firefox. However, it is a known fact that most of the time majority of the people who have computers are already satisfied with the browser that is installed in their PC and simply ignore the other types of browsers available nowadays. The truth is there are many internet browsers available nowadays and choosing which one to choose is a difficult task. But when it comes to performance, Mozilla Firefox is definitely one of the best. The good thing about this browser is that it is available for free and under continuous development and the latest version is the Mozilla Firefox 7 beta version that has been given the code name Aurora.

Apparently, the Firefox 7’s hallmark will be its significant improvement on the browser’s performance. And speaking of performance improvements, one of the major improvements made on this browser is the introduction of the so-called MemShrink, which the company hopes to change the browser’s reputation of being a memory hog. With the MemShrink, the Firefox 7’s memory usage could be reduced from 20 to 50 percent and this could improve the browser’s performance when it comes to start-up and page loading. In other words, the Firefox 7 is definitely faster than the previous releases.
The Firefox 7 beta version immediately came after the release of the Firefox 6 and as mentioned above it promises to bring better memory management that could reduce loading time and make it a more efficient browser. And the good news is that you can download its beta version for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android.
In addition to this, Mozilla is also bringing a better JavaScript garbage collection that enables the browser to perform faster by freeing the memory faster and improve its performance especially at times where more than one tab are open at the same time. Azure Direct2D for Canvas has also been implemented in this new version as well.
As you can see most of the improvements made on the Firefox 7 deals with making it a faster browser. You may now download its beta version and if everything goes out as plan, Firefox 7 will reach the majority of its users by September 27. Watch out for it.
