The Video Game Awards 2009 night has just ended and it looks like World Premiere game titles gathered more attention than the winners! Well, it’s a matter of personal choice, don’t you think? Though, the most important thing was that  everyone had a great red game carpet experience. Everyone would agree that the recognition was just the tip of the iceberg, and the real winners are the ones which gets the “golden egg” (money baby!). In that case, it’s proper to say that most game titles emerge as winners. Fair enough?

One of the most important segment in VGA is the World game title premiere where upcoming game titles make announcements and present never before seen cinematic trailers. Gamers and the general audience get so excited over these news. Who would not? It was a great opportunity and honor to become one of the few individuals to witness these exclusive debut trailers. Don’t worry if you miss the awards night, we  made a compilation on the most elusive game trailers presented at the awards night. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Batman Arkham Asylum – see trailer and other details on this article.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 Exclusive trailer

The famous, Samuel L. Jackson, who also played a role in Star Wars Movies, revealed the upcoming game title Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.  The trailer features Starkiller (Darth Vader’s previous apprentice) armed with light sabers stepped into the arena and faced enemies. See trailer for more details.

True Crime Exclusive trailer – overall, gamers don’t expect too much from this game title. We agree. The cinematic trailer doesn’t even  show too much “wow” factor, as expected.

TRON Evolution – Disney collaborated with Propaganda Games to bring this game to life. The game was introduced by actress Olivia Wilde and will probably be scheduled for release by last quarter of 2010 (which might coincide with the screening of TRON legacy movie). We’re not a big fan of this type of video games, but we enjoyed the trailer… a bit.

Deadliest Warrior – Who is Deadliest? Honestly, it sounded like a joke when we first saw this game trailer. And apparently, so was its cinematic trailer. Who would have thought of merging knights and ninjas in a game? That’s a very creative idea but it seemed to lack execution. It’s unique and has a great graphic quality. But overall, we were not thrilled when we saw it. We don’t expect it neither to become a smash hit come 2010.

UFC Undisputed 2010 – we made an article update about this upcoming MMA simulation from THQ. We’re quite disappointed on the trailer because of its lack of creativity. The real-life introduction by UFC stars (overall concept wasn’t bad) but  ate almost two-thirds of the video. And when we’re expecting to see a great 3D show, boy we’re shocked to see almost the same combat CG scenes again! Perhaps, the UFC 2010 teaser trailer was better to watch than this! Though, it’s really nice to see Kimbo Slice on the last part, we expect to see him come May 25th. Visit UfCundisputed site for updates.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands trailer – the game was announced a few weeks ago and will coincide with its movie counterpart, Prince of Persia: The Sands of time. We’re not sure if it was an excellent move to concentrate “back” on the sands trilogy to complement the movie and vice versa. I guess we need to wait for May 2010 to find that out!

Crackdown 2 Exclusive Trailer – an open world, third-person shooter game, Crackdown received pretty average score among gaming critics. Gamers have mix reactions about this game and its sequel (as we always do). Overall, it was positive, and cinematic trailer was great-looking as well.

Medal of Honor – several gamers and bloggers who attended the last night’s VGA was impressed on the debut trailer of Medal of Honor. We agree, but on a side note, I still can remember the Javelin glitch supernovas while watching the video clip. How about you?

Halo: Reach trailer – one of the much anticipated and widely publicized game trailer to watch at the VGA 2009. Halo: Reach is the prequel to the Halo Game trilogy.
