Every now and then a new mobile phone is being launched in the market. From the phones with the traditional keypad to phones that sports a QWERTY keypad and touchscreen –based phones; it is pretty evident that the mobile phone has really evolved into one of the most powerful devices that serve as an effective tool of communication. And as more mobile phones are being launched, it has also been noticeable that more concept & prototype gadgets are showing off in terms of design, making each mobile phone unique from each other in order to attract the attention of most mobile users out there.

And speaking of mobile phone concepts, Fujitsu has just unveiled a new dual-screen concept phone recently. Apparently, this is an extraordinary looking phone that has no keyboard, but rather boasts off two touchscreen displays instead. Fujitsu has showed off this device during the CEATEC’s exhibition held in Japan. As reported, it appears that this concept phone has been created with the help of the Swedish Mobile UI design company named The Astonishing Tribe (TAT).
Basically, the mobile phone looks very promising. And it looks like the Fujitsu phone is already complete and ready for production. Aside from its unique dual-screen feature, this phone has also been designed with a little twist, and that is its ability to transform into a landscape-oriented device.
Technically speaking, the handset sports a 3.4-inch capacitive touchscreen on top and a 3.5-inch at the bottom that both come with a 480×960 resolution. The concept phone shown by Fujitsu at the CEATEC exhibition uses the Symbian operating system. However, if this phone will materialize in the near future, it looks like it will be going to run with an Android OS.
The dual-touchscreen phone is quite a good idea, and with Fujitsu’s history surely this phone was designed with the Japanese domestic market in mind and it would not be a surprise if we are going to see this new dual-touchscreen phone turning into reality within a year or so. Some photos showing up this new concept phone were all over some gadgets websites and based in these photos, it looks like this is one cool phone that a lot of mobile users will definitely like.
