The Japanese folks has yet again revealed another fresh take on laptop technology. Particularly, the Japan-based Fujitsu company has introduced a pair of laptops equipped with compact projectors. Meet the Fujitsu LifeBooks P771/C and S761/C.

The 2 Fujitsu LifeBooks have taken the optical disk drive usage to the next level. Well, it seems the Japanese folks at Fujitsu thought that most people nowadays are not fully utilizing their ROM drives. Thus, they’ve decided to make a little DIY project with it. And voila! The S761/C and P771/C with external pico projectors are born!
No particular details were given about these projectors but we managed to dig some info about its innards. First off, the Fujitsu LifeBook S761/C. Other than the visual projector, this compact notebook PC is equipped with Intel Core i5-2520M (2.5GHz) processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 13.3 inch display screen with 1366 x 768 resolution, Windows 7 Professional (32 bit). It will be available in Japan by mid-May for ¥219,450 ($2,675).
Next in line is the P771/C LifeBook which has a lot of similarities with the S761/C specs wise. It is equipped with the same external projector, Intel Core i5-2520M processor, 1GB memory, Intel HM65 Express Chipset, 160GB HDD and Windows 7 OS. The P771/C, however, has a smaller display screen size at 12.1 inch with 1280 x 800 resolution. It also commands a higher price at ¥255,150 ($3,110) and will be available by mid-May, as well.
