We have seen a lot of notebooks carrying Intel’s Sandy Bridge processor that we have nearly forgotten about AMD’s new Fusion APUs! The new AMD Chip promises to provide ginormous amount of processing power for mobile devices such as tablets, laptops and netbooks. And with the arrival of the new Fujitsu Lifebook PH50/C , AMD could finally be in a better position.

Here are the initial specs for this Fujitsu lifebook:
- Sports an 11.6 inch display (1366 x 768)
- Equipped with 1.6GHz AMD’s E-350 Zacate APU
- Radeon HD 6310 Graphics
- 2GB RAM
- 500GB HDD
- Ethernet
- 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi
- Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
- 5800mAh battery good for 7.3 hrs.

Since we’re on the Fujitsu topic, Intel Sandy Bridge fanboys should also be interested to hear about Fujitsu’s PH74/C. The laptop will have basically the same specs as the PH50/C but the good news is that it will have the Sandy Bridge Core i3-2310M as well as a WiMAX module.
The announcement for these latest line of Fujitsu notebooks was made in Japan but European and North American Fujitsu fans should get it soon. Price is expected to hover around 80,000 yen / under $800 and will be available by February 3rd of this year.
