Everyone seems to be looking forward to having right before their very hands Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus.

Known as the first-ever smartphone to feature Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich, this baby has a 4.65-inch display that is HD Super AMOLED capable of bringing 720p (1280×720) resolution. Having been equipped with the newest Android OS, would be owners would surely notice the new user interface (UI) which has among others incorporated improved multi-tasking functionality, notifications, WiFi hotspot, NFC support and web-browsing experience.
Running the show under its hood is the 1.2GHz dual core Cortex-A9 processor partnered with 1GB of RAM. Memory isn’t a problem as there’s a 16GB/32GB available. Primary camera is 5MP and has LED flash while secondary is at 1.2MP. Video recording capability is at 1080p at 30fps. There’s support for 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth. Moreover, there’s a 3.5mm jack for audio connectivity and it has the standard Li-Ion battery (1850 mAh).
Apparently, the Galaxy Nexus would be launched in the US by December. However, if you can’t wait, you can try your luck at Expansys’ website where they offer an unlocked 16GB Galaxy Nexus for $749.99. Expansys’ is even offering a same day shipment once you ordered. Gotta pamper yourself if you do have the Benjamins as an unlocked Galaxy Nexus would surely be nice!
