There’s something about rumors that keeps the faith of those who are willing to wait, but the end of the day, it’s clear they are only there to make you realize they aren’t really there… just yet.

Well, that’s the similar path patrons of Samsung are experiencing right now as the anticipation continues for the announcement of Galaxy S II’s successor –- popularly known as Galaxy S3. According to Techradar, Samsung confirmed to them the new flagship device isn’t exactly arriving at Mobile World Congress this month at Barcelona. Rather, S III will have its separate announcement hosted by Samsung on the first half of the year.
As vague as that may sound since it means any day between February up to June will be a match, some sources are suggesting the Korean company may be planning to take its competition with Apple to a whole new level by releasing the device near the iPhone 5 (iPhone 4S’ successor) expected to be announced at WWDC on June all the way for a July shipping period. This is something we haven’t seen before since most of the high-end Android phones for the first-half of last year were all announced on or before May.
In our previous report, we mentioned there’s a possibility the new Galaxy S III handset might feature quad-core CPU, 12MP camera and superb battery that can last for a whole day. We keep our fingers crossed!
