Say good bye to GB and say hello to TB (Terabyte) for your Laptop!
You have smirked a bit when I said TB. I know the first thing that came into your mind was the sickness of the lungs (unless you’re so technical then this may have never crossed your mind).Imagine if you can have terabyte for your PC… that means you will no longer have to upgrade your computing device memory since it will surely be enough to cover all your storage needs!
That’s 1000 gigabytes for you to use! This may not sound too amazing for those people who have been exposed to gadgets and technology all their lives, in fact they have seen this phenomena coming (I mean what else could be next to gigabyte right?). So is terabyte the next big thing for all computing device this 2010?
I wonder how much it would cost to get a terabyte built-in to your lappie? We all know that upgrading a desktop’s memory is quite costly and come to think of it we are only talking about gigabyte here, what more or shall I say how much more will it cost if you opt to have a terabyte? There are pro’s and con’s about having a terabyte, first if this feature will be standard for a PC (or whatever computing device) will it still be affordable?
We have to face the fact that not all of us needs that extra storage, 500GB HDD is more than enough for a gamer pc what more can a terabyte be? Though changes is the only permanent thing is this world I’m not really saying that’s impossible that someone can really max out that 1 Terabyte of storage. So much for introduction let’s go to the main point and who made terabyte storage available to a computing device.
GammaTech Computer Corporation never slept on this one most probably, beating all the storage capacity of Asus Gamer’s laptop is D14 E-Series of Gammatech!
Now let me just clarify that the E-Series will have 3 configuration or model these are E0, E1 and E2.The reason why GammaTech designed 3 types or models is for the consumers to get the best out of the innovation at the same time attend to different computing needs.E0/ RAID-0 will be injected with One terabyte (single HDD). E1/RAID-1 gives real time file/data back up and synchronization, while the E2 will not have one HDD at 1 Terabyte, instead GammaTech has injected two 500GB to provide 1 Terabyte of HDD to this rig! GammaTech’s line of Durabook promises durability and maximum storage capabilities for your most extreme needs!
**Durabooks are made to withstand torture (it’s primarily made for the US military) it’s drop, shock and spill resistant. Price tag starts at $1,500+
