GPS devices are in demand nowadays specially for travelers who don’t like to waste time finding their next destination. Garmin – the biggest provider of handheld GPS around the globe – has announced the upgraded product line-up for its Garmin eTrex series.

The Garmin Etrex GPS series is one of the most reliable satellite navigation devices in the market today. It is the favorite GPS gadget by hikers, hunters and geocachers because of its accuracy, durability, compact and lightweight package.
Starting off with the Garmin eTrex 10. This pocket-sized GPS device is perfect for budget-conscious consumers who love to travel – and don’t like getting lost in the woods. The redesigned eTrex 10 will sport a sunlight-readable monochrome display and worldwide basemap – which allows users to easily determine their current location and their target destination.
The eTrex 20 and 30 have more advanced features than the eTrex 10 including an enhanced 2.2 inch 65K color display that allows users to view available maps in either 2D or 3D mode. There’s also the Track Draw that enables travelers to immediately asses the difficulty of their hike and elevation profile. The eTrex 30 provides additional built-in features such as 3-axis tilt-compensated electronic compass and barometric altimeter. All of which comes with a price, of course!
All 3 Garmin Etrex models will be available by Q3 and will have the following price quotes: eTtrex 10 ($119.99), eTrex 20 ($199.99) and eTrex 30 (299.99). You can always visit Garmin’s site for more details. The new Garmin eTrex models will be displayed at the upcoming Teva Mountain Games on June 3-5.
