If there’s one thing that thrilled us the most during the recent Chrome event, it’s not the Chrome-based devices but the Google Chrome Web App store, because for the first time in Google’s history, they have a product going to be launch whereas its prime competitor has not yet fully dominated it. I am talking about the impending Mac App store release on Mac computers.

We’ve got to admit, there’s a big chance the Chrome-based laptop devices may not soar from the market but this newly fangled Chrome web app store may hold the key to revolutionize application sharing throughout the web. The only caveat here is, the whole store is buggy. Coming from first time users, when you try to download a Netflix app and install it on your computer, you will see that it doesn’t bolster a quick to play video with the ones from your favorites, instead it will give you just a feed of links wherein you’ll need to click it first directing you to the netflix page where you’re going to watch it there – defeating the purpose of downloading the App if you can access Netflix itself quicker on its website.
Looking at the bright side, Google is on a verge of unlocking the potential of this feat towards its lucrative advantage or negative side-effects. Only time can tell, but obviously, G should be fast or they may be swept again by the impending release of App store on Mac.
