Printing is a serious business as everyone can see from all the printers and inks and toners and other related products in the market today. Google saw this and decided to slap their already humongous name to it, but with a twist. Here is something that should interest anyone, the Google Cloud Print.

As with yesterdays demo of the Chrome OS, the key feature of it all is the way it bases everything in the all-magical cloud, which is basically the whole Internet and it’s storage capabilities. Google Cloud Print beta, which everyone saw an April unveiling, is a whole new method to wireless printing. What it basically does is enable mobile users that have smartphones, tablets or laptops send their to-be-printed document or picture and send it to Google Cloud Print. Users can then use the browser to connect to their local printing device and print directly from the cloud.
The advantages here are mainly for the more mobile users that are always on the go and can print from anywhere as long as there is a printer available. If they have their own smartphone and/or tablet, then they can easily connect their Google Accounts and Print Cloud to the web and then to the printer in one lightweight program.
The only drawback here is that it’s not yet fully done as it is still in the beta stages. Early adopters can now download one now from the Google Cloud Print site.
