Remember that rumored report about the Nexus 4G, said to be the third-generation Google Phone? Well, it turns out BGR managed to get another confirmation about its possible name now called as “Nexus Prime” and guess what? It will be manufactured by Samsung again just like the Nexus S.

Just to give you a quick overview, this Google Nexus Prime phone is predicted to be one of the most powerful Android phone of its class should its release date points out before the end of this year. Packing with an insane TI OMAP 4460 dual-core CPU said to be clocked at 1.2GHz or 1.5GHz, it includes other goodies like a 720p resolution display (we’re talking about its native resolution here when you browse the internet, play games, etc). Its screen is labeled as “Super AMOLED HD” and just like any Nexus device, the Prime is believed to be a world phone – meaning – it supports other frequency bands globally.
Likewise, this will be the flagship device of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0), believed to be the first platform by Google to be compatible even with legacy Android devices and will “unify” all Android brands under one OS.
So better save some money now because Fall (September) is expected to deliver the best Android phones this year, just in the right timing with the arrival of iPhone 5.
