Google won’t be left behind in the time when Facebook had announced their tweaks such as Timeline and Ticker. In competition with this, Google Plus has introduced the Google Plus Brand Pages, where ad agencies create pages for their brands and let people get updates that they truly need from this brands. Google Plus is a new social networking from Google that makes users interact with real friends and set their privacy well.

For Mashable, they contacted some ad agencies to try and imagine how brand pages would look like even though the release of the feature hasn’t happened yet. One of which is Skinny. Its social director, Colin Murphy thought that brand pages have lots of advantages and one of them is people only get to see updates from the brands that they want to see if they implement the Public Circles, which does not happen in Facebook and Twitter. The admin of the brand pages will just have to “feed pertinent content to the appropriate circles”.
Then, there is more customization for Google Plus Brand Pages as there will be opportunities for custom skinning in the page so they can display rich media ads. In this way, Google Plus can deliver stronger brand experiences and help people know more about special promotions. Now, people will not have to worry about nonsense ads coming out from the Google + pages because they can pick the ads that they want without doing a lot of things.
There is no release date yet, but having ad agencies test them can be good so users can see its effectivity.
