Its been roughly two days after Google revealed its new social-network service called as Google Plus, enabling you to add your friends with the use of Circles, do video-chats with them via Hangouts and follow websites or people you know using Sparks.
Likewise, the whole entrance of Google+ was a total hit in the blogosphere as media sites reported everything about it, including the ways on how you’ll get an invite.

For those who are unaware, Big G has opened its big gate yesterday and gave invites to those people who have registered on Google Plus Beta; however, it appears the party has already ended as Google’s SVP of Social Vic Gundotra announced they closed the invites “after a few hours” because the demand was “insanely high”.
Naturally, this is something we already expect as seen from the past beta services of Google like Wave, which we know how ended up tragically.
In our previous report, we revealed that in the social-networking sphere, everything new in the eyes of netizen looks beautiful and can easily create buzz. However, that doesn’t mean the whole service will be following that fame for the rest of its existence. Again, we’ll be using Google Wave as our prime example last year of how it managed to gain a tremendous amount of buzz on the social-media paradigm, but didn’t worked out so well after its public release.
After our review with Google+, we have the impression that it’s not a Facebook killer but rather, a service that can co-exist with the world’s biggest social-network. Interestingly, social-networking is very diverse and as big as Facebook is right now, Google still have the chance to tap other potentials to fuel the success of Plus – question is, where should its scientist and developers look?
Also, it’s noteworthy to say that since the company temporarily closed the invitation for Google+, some lowlifes may used this opportunity to offer scams like those Google Wave beta invites which was even auctioned at E-Bay!
May we advice everyone that it’s best to just wait for Google to open the invitation again and join its program than go to a rogue website which may not give what you’re looking for. Take note that these invites should be free and you know you’re talking with a scammer when he’s asking for some money in return.
Get out of there ASAP!
