There’s been a little controversy that spun around the official Google+ App at the Apple App store for the past couple of days. You see, eventhough the service is already reaching a growth of 350% and more than 10 million users using it, the only app we’ve seen released by Google is exclusively available on Android market. This puts us into our thinking hats why Google Plus isn’t yet available on the App Store with a fruit-shaped emblem?
As of today, both parties still haven’t gave any comments for that. So we find a solution for this, and this is a sweet app freshly updated today by a third party developer.
Thanks to Doat a.k.a Do@, the team’s DoAT app is now capable of sharing links from other sites to Google+ aside from the usual Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn combo. This app works great on mobile devices since the G+ icon is floating at the upper right side of a page you’re viewing which is really unobtrusive. If you want to share that link with your circles, you simply need to tap the icon and voila! It’s already posted with an appended message that says, “shared from the iphone via DoAT”.
Likewise, other G+ related buttons are now sprouting in the App store like mushrooms but of course, we’re still waiting for the official one from Google. And hopefully, Google+1 will finally be seen on mobile because up to this day, its still invisible!
