Extreme sports lovers will definitely be delighted to hear this news! GoPro, the company behind HD HERO, has officially announced the availability of the GoPro HD HERO2. The wearable outdoor camera will be the next-gen version of HD HERO.
But what’s interesting is that the new model has been configured to be twice as powerful as the Original GoPro HD HERO. The GoPro HD HERO2 can be availed with three different mounting accessory configurations, the Motorsports Edition, the Surf Edition and the Outdoor Edition. Each configuration can be purchased for $299.99.
The Motorsports Edition GoPro HD HERO2 Camera flaunts its J-Hook Buckle, 3-way Pivot Arm, Suction Cup Mount, Curved Adhesive and Flat Adhesive Mounts. The Surf Edition, on the other hand, flaunts its Floaty Backdoor, FCS Plug and Surfboard Mounts. As for the Outdoor Edition, you will be getting a Head Strap, a Vented Helmet Strap and a 3-Way Pivot Arm with Flat and Curved Adhesive Mounts.
The GoPro HD HERO2 Camera can also take pride of its 11MP Professional Sensor, 2x faster image processor, 2x sharper glass lens, professional low light performance, 3.5mm external stereo microphone input, simple language-based user interface, WiFi BacPac and WiFi Remote Compatibility, Video and Photo Live Streaming, 1080p (@ 30fps) video recording and full 170° and medium 127° FOV Photos.
