Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5): Release Hinted By Domain Leak

Posted on 23 March 2011 by pinoytutorial

Here’s an interesting report that brings us closer and closer to the imminent launch of Grand Theft Auto V, probably until next year!

gtv release date Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5): Release Hinted By Domain Leak

Unearthed from a forum, it appears Rockstar Games has already purchased the domain grandtheftauto5.com and this is confirmed by looking on its who.is information. Interestingly, if you’ll try to reverse-ip the IP address which is 38.126.9.134, you’ll also see other domains purchased on the same cluster of IPs like, babehardcore.com, bicyclecommuter.com, themaniacs.com, etc.

Here’s a screenshot.

Why these type of domain names? You see, if you have played GTAIV, in some point of your quest, you can access mini-games towards a computer and it will connect you to a real domain from the internet to play those games. The domain names you are seeing above is a possible type of mini-games, radio stations and a possibility of new groups of gang all going to be implemented on GTA V.

Our last report about GTAV is about Michael Pachter predicting tha GTA5 should be announced on the later part of this year, in which, its possible release date would be on 2012. In this case, the next obvious question will be, would GTA5 be announced for this year’s E3 event?

Dang, that will be the day!
