If you are one of the gamers who managed to play GTAIV on its 2008 debut, you may be like me who fell too deep on the game, which is still the current most expensive game of all time. Anyway, while your attention is now shifted with the official arrival of L.A Noire this May, you should know some gaming pundits are already predicting the release date for Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) in which critiques think it may come this 2011 instead of its expected 2012 launch.
But there’s a catch.
As you can see, Michael Pachter believes we should see a GTAV release this year is because of the fact that those “significant” people who developed this game (Sam houser, Dan Houser and Les benzies) will have to renew their contract with Rockstar Games before the end of this year. As you can see, these Take-Two boys need to show some “ace” to Rockstar Games if they want to be absorbed by the company as its next developing team for another contract. So the bottom factor suggests that before the end of this year, we should be hearing GTAV being on development.
Although some are disagreeing with this theory by Pachter; as you can see, those trio managed to become deeply involve in the development of L.A Noire, Duke Nukem Forever, Bioshock Infinite which are more than enough reasons for Rockstar Games to give them another bite of the cake on 2012.
If you’ll ask me, I would just wait for the GDC this year and let’s hope GTAV wouldn’t come as late as 2013 – you know what I’m saying?
