Being a bonafide kid of the nineties, I am sure some of you got lulled on playing Diablo / Starcraft brigade on your PC and that was the good ole days of PC Gaming. While doing such, you begin to play more video games and probably you have encountered the Grand Theft Auto franchise as early as 2000. As for me, I only have the time to play it when the christening of its original GTA III hits the stage and boy, that was 9 years ago!

You can see the delightment of all the fans (including my folks here) when GTA IV was revealed and teased at that time as the most expensive game of all reaching $100M for its development budget alone. So far, the first experience of playing GTAIV was mesmerizing and its very unusual at that time to see Gamespot and other game pundits be giving a 10 / 10 on a game – and GTA IV was the exception.
Today (trumphets rolling!) it appears the release date for GTA V is now finally leaked and it will set the players to wait for 1-2 years from now. Coming from Mike Hichey (Janco Analyst), it’s very likely to see the next version of GTA be shipped on Fiscal time of 2012 and it will take on a duration from April 2012 up to March 2013. Later, it was also revealed that this next sequel of GTA franchise may sell 16 million copies worldwide, 1 million higher than the total sales of GTA IV which was revealed last 2008 achieving 15 million units sold world wide.
As for the latest rumors, it appears GTAV will take place on the dirty-money-sexy city of Hollywood. I guess we still need to wait for one more year, eh? Hang on tight!
