On our coverage about Apple TV, it’s predicted that all of the three new jailbreaks are possible to crack Apple’s box, since the bootrom exploit our developers are using already cracked the iOS 4.1 – which is technically being used by the new Apple TV.
Recently, the developers for Limera1n and Pwnage Tool claim that they will soon launch their own version of an Apple TV JB. For geohot, it appears he still hasn’t upgraded the last release candidate for his limera1n to work on iPod Touch 2G and Apple TV. As for Musclenerd, his Pwnage Tool is not yet available last funday-Sunday due to some technical issues. Although, he revealed in this spectacular screenshot that PT can JB all the non-obsolete Apple devices – including Apple TV and iPod Touch 2G, of course.
At this point, the chronicdevteam (developers of Greenpois0n) won’t be releasing any ETA for the JB on Apple TV, after having some issues with geohot. But you can expect the ETA and download time for this one to be soon!
