Looking for a new game to rock your world? Then, here is another upcoming game to watch out for. This is the new game entitle Guild Wars 2. To give you a brief history about this game, this game was first announced in 2007 and first shown in 2009 at gamescom. Guild Wars 2 is actually the sequel to the Guild Wars series that was developed by ArenaNet and will apparently be published by NCsoft. A lot of gamers are expecting that this game will be the solution to the issue of lack of variety and tediousness in many MMOs.
This game will feature a new game engine as well as tweaks on character development and the PvP system. According to some people who have seen the game, the game looked stunning and its gameplay as described by Chris Lye and the lore explained by Ree Soesbee is very interesting and this will surely encourage more players to play to keep coming back and play the game. A teaser trailer of this game is available on its official website along with some more recent videos revealing the two main characters from each of the playable races namely Human and Norn.
Guild Wars 2 will be featuring five playable races. The original Guild Wars only have humans as playable race, but in the Guild Wars 2, Asura, Norn and Charr will become playable races too. Each of these races will basically have its own reason to fight the dragons, but each race also has the reason to fight the other races. Well, this sound like a very interesting battle ahead isn’t it?
Apparently, the combat in Guild Wars 2 will be both fast-paced and positional. And throughout the story of the Guild Wars 2, each race will attract its racial iconic, understand the story of each race and understand why they thought their attack failed.

Guild Wars 2 will go into beta testing stage for Windows PC during the second half of this year and we can expect this game to arrive some time in 2012. This game is expected to bring substantial growth in the gaming world. So watch out for it.
