This streaming service from HBO requires an HBO subscription through participating cable providers. Today, HBO subscribers can check out this amazing application available for free downloads at iTunes for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Android Market also offers free downloads for the Android smartphone users. iOS users can also use their Verizon FiOS accounts in unlocking the application. With HBO Go, people on the go can catch up on their favourite HBO shows in their own convenience from searching for content to creating watchlist of movies they intend to watch later.
HBO Go is available for HBO subscribers in the US. The application is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, 3rd and 4th generation iPod touch and iPad. For Android users, HBO Go requires 2.1 – 2.3.3 Android versions while at least an iOS 3.2 version is recommended for the Apple devices. Some said that this application can function on Android browsers as long as there is a Flash player installed; others said that this works on PlayBook, too.
