Paradox Interactive just announced a great news all gamers out there. Hearts of Iron III will take its expansion on the brand new Hearts of Iron III: For the Motherland.
This is the second expansion of the popular World War II PC game title. During the Paradox Interactive Convention 2011, a video interview was released to highlight some updates and reveal additional contents to this popular video game.
The Hearts of Iron III game is said to be the grandest game ever created to commemorate the events of the World War II era. Players can take a backtrack journey and guide their countries to combat for glory on the battlefields. There are 100 nations to choose from and fight for.
Parallel to the expansion of Hearts of Iron III are the additional gameplay and features. “For the Motherland” expansion, an improved internal politics and a new coup system are created. Also expect a new theater interface for greater strategic information and a brand new Partisan system. Players can also strategize to grab resources to fuel their war machines.
The release date of the said expansion of Hearts of Iron III: For the Motherland is rumored to be available sometime in the second quarter of 2011.
