You think PSN USA and its Europe branch are the only networks experiencing a downtime today? Well, it appears all those major sites being hosted by Amazon in North Virginia are all down as well. And this includes, Quora, Reddit, Hootsuite, Foursquare and Amazon UK.
To be more specific, the sites were down since 9:40am (BST) and the source of this problem is still unknown. As far as the outage is concern, all those websites who are using the cloud-based computing servers of Amazon on its Northern branch are all down as of the moment.

Currently, Amazon.co.uk and Foursquare are already accessible, and the popular social-bookmarking site Reddit, managed to cope up with the downtime and it’s already running; provided that its users can’t log-in on their accounts until this “emergency” is over. Sadly, Quora and Hootsuite don’t have any back-up servers and as of the moment, their websites are still down.
Amazon still haven’t gave any specific time until when will they be able to remedy the situation. Obviously, many are wondering if these downtimes have something to do with the recent problems currently being faced by Playstation Network affecting its millions of gamers around the globe.
We’ll keep you guys updated!
