It’s been years since Hewlett-Packard released a new line or executive class laptops. Redesigned both inside and out, the Elitebook line of HP, is building up hype which won’t let you down.

The 8460p and 8560p are the 14 and 15.6-inch laptops of HP’s Elitebook line. Housed in HP’s very own DuraCase, these laptops went through the MIL-STD 8710G testing with flying colors. Military standard is one of its best features which will withstand accidental bumps or drops better than any other laptop out in the market. Built with aluminum-alloy hinges and a titanium-alloy cast display, these laptops will hold up against wear and tear. Let’s not forget that 360 degree rubber frame that extends along the exterior of the display panel. Along all these durability features, we have a spill resistant keyboard, a fingerprint scanner, and face detection software via its built-in webcam.
The 8460p and 8560p both come with the latest technologies built inside the laptop, features that definitely stand out among the rest. Boasting Intel’s second generation i7, i5, or i3 core processors, two DDR3 slots which can hold up to 16GB total RAM and an IntelHD Graphics 300 or AMD Radeon HD 6470 graphics card, these laptops will be fast and at the same time powerful. Among other features, they have built-in Hard Drives that can store up to 750GB, and can be upgraded with a second one. Among other upgrades, most notably are the Blu-ray burner and Reader. As for the laptops’ connections, they have standard WiFi, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 ports, FireWire, Ethernet, modem, and a headphone and microphone jack.
The only differences between the two are the 14 inch and 15.6 inch displays, the weight of the two which are 4.56 and 6.10 pounds respectively, the 8460p having a longer battery life which reaches up to 32 hours.
The EliteBook 8460p will be priced starting at $999.00 while the 8560p will be priced starting at $1099.00. These laptops will definitely be worth each penny you spend on them. So mark your calendars as the Elitebook line will go on sale March 15.
