Last January, we saw the new HP Pavilion series, as one of the very first few laptops powered by the newly-fangled AMD Fusion APU chipset. At that time, we were impressed with the device not only because it’s high-end, but the price is very cheap for a laptop in that category. As of today, HP reveals one of its latest Pavilion laptop called as “DV4” and its specifications would be more than enough if you’ll use it merely in the office.

The new HP Pavilion DV4 will sport an Intel Core i3 / i5 Sandy Bridge CPU packing with an integrated graphics card along with its 14-inch HD LED BrightView screen display (1366 x 768 resolution), which will be available in “espresso black” or “pacific blue” colors.

For its other features, it has a new “CoolSense” and “Intelligent settings” capability to cool-down your laptop and a software that tracks your movements and automatically adjust your notebook’s preferences, so you won’t have to worry about its temperature going too high. Other goodies include USB 3.0 support, Blu-Ray player for its optical drive, and up to 1TB storage capacity for its Hard Disk Drive. Lastly, it will also support the new HP SimplePass that provides enhanced security by enabling you to have an “all-in-one” password linked on each user’s fingerprint.
If you are interested, you can get this laptop for a starting price of 599.99 USD and its release date would be on May 18.
