There’s a new notebook in town and its HP’s Pavilion dv6z Quad edition.

The Pavilion dv6z is a 15.6-inch notebook that delivers a 1366×768 glossy resolution or should we say a full high-definition (HD) anti-glare screen. This laptop is the first to be launched by HP with the option to use the latest AMD processor (AMD Fusion Llano Accelerated Processing Units or APU), with would be owner having five (5) APU choices ranging from the A6-300M at 1.4GHz (entry) to the A8-3530MX at 1.9GHz (top of the line). Moreover, the stock clock speeds of these APUs can be tweaked if owner wants it to be either 2.3GHz or 2.6GHz. The graphics card can also be twitched with Radeon’s real discrete video cards at 512MB or 1GB of GDDR5 video memory.
The notebook has 16GB of RAM with hard disk space at a generous 1TB. HP’s new notebook comes with Windows 7 Home Premium pre-loaded and one can also opt to go with a Blu-ray. Other goodies installed are webcam, microphone, HDMI port, VGA port, two (2) USB 2.0 and a pair of USB 3.0 port. By the way, speakers are Dr. Dre’s Beats so one could expect good audio quality.
The HP Pavilion dv6z Quad Edition can be yours for $649.99 and is available in HP’s online store.
