Looks like Intel’s Core i7-2630QM chip will be making its way to laptops now courtsey of HP’s dv7. Here’s a look into XE378EA – HP Pavilion dv7-5000ea Entertainment Notebook PC.

The Core i7-2630QM CPU is one of the next-gen 32nm chips based on “Sandy Bridge” microarchitecture. These new CPUs will incorporate improved performance boosting technologies and integrated graphics. The 2nd Gen processors are expected to be initially available in dual- and quad-core variants.
