When Apple confirmed that their mythological tablet was for real, streams of curiosity became gush of buzz that seems to be so contagious, some techblogs even tried to release a fake specs just to quench the thirst of enthusiast who can’t wait to see it on its official debut on Jan 27 or 28. Apple is very good on keeping its juices concealed on the boundaries of their company. So far, everything is still a rumor although the closest yet unofficial name of this tablet will be ‘iSlate’.
Probably, you’ve also heard about the purported Google Tablet – said to be a yet another product going to be released by BIG G and HTC, the duo who bring forth the nexus one to mankind last January 5. Although, that rumor is way beyond the reality and remains fictional until further credible sources leaks out.
All the while we thought that’s the end of the tablet wars – We’re wrong. Yesterday, at the CES 2010 presentation held by Microsoft. Its highly-energetic CEO Steve Ballmer also announced that they also have a tablet to flaunt, this one was manufactured with the help of their partnering company HP.
Critiques are biting their lips that Ballmer might ‘squeal’ too much of the information on their new Tablet – On this competitive environment bragging too much about your product without seeing your competitor’s masterpiece has always been a unwise move.
Just what you expect with a highrolling CEO like Ballmer, he didn’t reveal too much about the details of the HP Slate, just a little bait that it will run Windows 7 (Obviously, enthusiasts know this one already) Not the type of show users are expecting, but hey! you can’t blame them for not revealing much of their skin, especially when their closest competitor is still loading its ammo three weeks ahead of the schedule.
Well at least MS didn’t forget to give some teaser-video we will be looking forward to see with their slate. Savor it at least!
Need more info? Don’t worry we’ll keep you updated for the specs of this one.
