Ladies and Gentleman presenting… The new innovation from HTC, let’s all welcome.. HTC Bravo!
HTC Bravo or shall I say Passion (for the US market will launch it as Passion), will hit the US market with a bang! Well, hopefully it will! HTC doesn’t seem to get enough of making history in the smart phone market. We just hope that they get better and better and learn from the flaws of the prior smart phones they launched.
Now what does HTC Bravo/Passion has to offer this time? “Same, I guess”. It Still has Android united with Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon, but has A 3.7 inch AMOLED (Active Matrix OLED) touch screen, a ravishing “five megapixel AF cam capable of 720p video capture” , which is something new.
You might be thinking what AMOLED is? As mentioned above it stands for Active Matrix OLED;
“A display technology meant for graphics-based screens (a matrix of columns and rows). Using a transistor for each green, blue and red sub pixel, active matrix screens are dispatch one row at a time for each electronic frame. They’re sharper and have more contrast than passive matrix screens, it doesn’t have the “missing in action” effect in which the cursor disappears when moved rapidly.
All desktop computer monitors,LCD and OLED laptops as well as OLED TVs and LCD, are active matrix. Because it uses thin film transistors (TFTs) in the backplane, active matrix LCD displays are also “TFT displays.”
Those information above are to enlighten the not so gadget savvy people reading this column. I hope it does help you get a grasp of some words that are jargon to you. Going back to HTC Bravo (for Europe) Or Passion (for US) as I should say, a lot of people would definitely go nuts for this phone! Why? Imagine a smaller phone (compared to Hero) and has better screen display (compared to HD2 that is) check the video below to see the difference. Just imagine a phone smaller than HTC Hero (that means it is easier to slide it into your pocket!), handy and easy to carry! Plus I believe that the screen display is a little improved too, compared to HTC Hero. See the video, and please prepare a hanky will you? You might just drool from watching the video, while your imagining how will this HTC Bravo/Passion will be like one’s it hits the market!
Watched it? Good! So now I bet you will be saving your bonus and cut your Christmas shopping budget to 50% so you can grab this exquisite and exceptional phone one’s it hits the market in the US. As for the people in Europe the buzz is that it will hit your place by March or April of 2010. I have to say that Bravo’s feature lingers in my head, I guess I have been hypnotized at some point, I cant help but say “Make it Mine”! So to all HTC fanatics and critics be sure to watch out for HTC’s Bravo/Passion launch this 2010, you wouldn’t like to be left behind, would you?
