More good news for HTC enthusiasts, as Three Mobile has just announced that they will be launching the update for the Gingerbread powered HTC Desires around the second or third week of May.
HTC Desire is considered as one of the best smart phone released as of present, and despite new releases of other models, the HTC Desire still stands out strong. The new upcoming software update would definitely make HTC Desires users happy, or even urge others to get one.
The new update for the Android 2.3 or Gingerbread will improve the speed performance of the smart phone, as well as enhance its power consumption. Apart from those basic upgrades, it would also include UI enhancements, such as a dedicated application for downloads. This new app would allow users to view all of recent downloads. The new Gingerbread update may also solve complaints regarding the HTC Desire’s battery life, which had been the main concern of users who purchased the gadget upon its release.
