You’ve got to love the media of how it inflates a simple problem over something that’s supposed to be just small. Just in case you don’t know what I’m pertaining about, let’s go back towards the month of July whereas that infamous ‘iphone 4 antennagate’ issue has erupted. At that time, even CNN was involved on trying to deduce how critical and crazy the situation was for all iPhone 4 users and that death-grip may somehow cause for a recall. Apple has answered the situation point by point and to your surprise, the only affected users we’re only less than 1% of all the iPhone 4 buyers.

Fast forwarding back to the issue today, it appears some tech-pundits manages to unearth a wild report of some users having the same death grip issue on HTC HD7. For our new visitors, death-grip is a term whereas your mobile unit’s signal will drop to zero (plummet) when you hold it on a certain position. Every phone has an antenna and since everything now is a wireless one, it’s important not put your hands on that area. The problem arrives when the phone’s ‘sweet spot’ is on a place where you normally put your hands on (e.g: for calling, texting, etc) thus this death grip would become very imminent and annoying.
As for this HTC HD7 death grip claims, HTC has managed to respond on the matter, and so far, these claims are just rumors. Innocent till proven guilty, huh?
