As for HTC Legend users out there, it’s now or never.
Last December 9, we have finally received a tweet from HTC telling us that Legend will finally get its long-awaited Android 2.2 update. Well, it’s supposed to be due last summer but due to some problems with certain apps the update was delayed. And for those who are eager to get the latest Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread, better wait for further announcements from Taiwan’s “quietly brilliant” mobile company.
As we all know, HTC Legend usually runs on Android 2.1 Éclair. So the update could surely bring the phone a few steps ahead. Aside from this, the phone is also equipped with 600 MHz processing speed, 384MB RAM, 5 megapixel color camera with auto-focus and flash, WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 with enhanced data rate, HTC Peep for Twittering, G-Sensor, Digital Compass, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, and up to 32GB memory expansion slot.
On the other hand, HTC also announced that updates for Wildfire and Desire are coming sometime soon. But before anything else, let me specify that it’s just Europe who will get the updates. So if you’re from United States or anywhere else, better keep in touch with HTC.
