For a time (a long time that is), we, among all other smartphone fans have been victims to rumors of Windows Phone 7. And as if we have not grown tired of hearing and reading about it, here comes yet another leak of a supposedly new phone in that line. Is it really “new”?
We’ve heard about the HTC Mozart and Mondrian (and HTC Schubert, named after another classical composer). Another smartphone by the name of HTC Spark (we are still not sure if this is the official name) was seen on the official website of the Taiwanese mobile gadget company. Moreover, based from some gadget blogs, this “Spark” handset has a striking resemblance to HTC Trophy – another Windows Phone 7 handset.
The HTC Spark first made its way in the online spotlight on August in a document that presented it as a phone with 3.7 inch display with 480×800 pixels, 512 MB RAM, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor and supposedly sports a 5 Megapixel camera. Obviously, it is a touch screen device and will most likely run in GSM/GPRS and UMTS/HSDPA networks.
No further announcements have been released regarding this HTC Spark, so there’s nothing more we could give regarding its price and release date details (at least for now). So, stay tuned for more updates!
