Don’t mistake this one for a multi-media player because this gadget is more than meets the eye! People who has seen this and got a hands-on experience on Huawei Smakit S7 Tablet during the Mobile World Congress 2010 event was really fascinated by its beauty and performance now this is what we call ‘a total performer’!
Don’t under estimate the 7 inch sized gadget we have here because other than it can provide you with internet connectivity it can also support your outgoing calls via 3G. It’s android powered and you can expect that all Android application will be supported by the new Huawei Smakit S7, now that means smart kit! This tablet includes a docking station with a HDMI-out so you can watch your favorite YouTube clips or movies from the net straight to your television or LCD monitor (just in case you only have the monitor for that matter).
You need not to worry about the resolution of the movie or video because this device can play at 720p whether you have it plugged in a large screen, absolutely fantastic for a small device right? The docking station of Huawei Smakit S7 Tablet on the other hand has two USB slots which are Hi-speed interface. You also get a microSDHC card slot in this tablet that can support up to 32 gigabyte. As for the battery life Huawei claims that it can last up to 4 hours while playing your HD video clips, I’m just not sure if it can last longer if you’re just using it for the usual web surfing and emails. I know that this device may seem a little bit big for you (maybe because the calling out capabilities still lingers) but keep in mind that this is a tablet pc. I would say this is pretty neat for a handheld computing device plus you get calling features! Oh this one also has a web cam so I’m thinking if video calling can be squeezed in too. The device only weighs half a kilo so it’s not something you would feel that is too heavy to be carrying around all the time.

This device is expected to be available in the market by June or July but nothing is still certain. The price has not yet been divulged but we are hoping we will have more details by May or June this year.
