Hyperkin PS3 Remotext Controller: Release Date, Price and Specs Announcement at E3

Posted on 23 May 2011 by author

They say that timing is everything. Now that PSN is back, it is high time that fans should get back in action with their PSP. Our peeps at Hyperkin, the leading brand on video game peripherals have the solution with the launch of their PS3 Remotext.

Worry no more about the hassle of chatting on your console while using the onscreen keyboard. Remotext boasts a slide out DVD and Blu-ray Control panel with a full QWERTY keypad. One cool feature is that you can use it as your buddy to text other players in PSN network while you can also pilot your PS3 games using its dual analog sticks with almost complete game controls.

Basically, it should serve as your do it all companion to get in touch with other players while you shoot your enemies. Unfortunately, there is no Bluetooth connectivity and rear trigger but it does come with a USB wireless receiver. You just have to plug it on the USB port of your PS3 system and use rechargeable batteries to use it with ease.

The Hyperkin PS3 Remotext will see the light at E3 this coming June. No word on exact price tag and availability yet but we are looking forward on hearing from the company on the upcoming days.
