Here at the industry, whenever we see another gadget that’s related to iDevices that promises some impossible feature which sounds really nice to hear (at first encounter only), we tried to pray dearly that it wouldn’t fail and won’t be piled among those vaporware gadgets. I am not really going into a pessimistic mood here, believe me, if ever there’s a device that delivers what it really promises to do – I am all for it! But I am having a hard time figuring this new device out that sprouted all of a sudden at the CES event today (like most of them do).

Nope, this is not about making your life longer or anything that will make you become a cyborg but rather, its ambiguous name turns out to be pointing on monitoring your blood pressure and you can use it on the go. So this one will be compatible with iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad and it works by tracking and measuring your blood pressure by using the iHealth dock whereas a tourniquet like sheath of clothing will be wrapped around your arms just like any professional blood-pressure session.
Obviously, the advantage of this one is you don’t really need to be a nurse or a medical assistant to know accurately what is the BP of your loved ones, you just rely your trust with the iHealth application and voila!
