This news came directly from the twitter account of Robert “fourzerotwo” Bowling, the community manager for Infinity Ward. The initial 1.05 patch on PS3 for the most wanted action-packed game Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was released to provide improvements on matchmaking. At the same time, Mr. Bowling had a follow up on the 1.06 patch – to correct the Javelin Glitch- which he described was “still coming down the pipeline”.

Our educated guess would be by the end of this year’s holiday season, all platforms (Xbox, PS3 and PC) will receive the Javelin Glitch Patch. So this might sound bad to Modern Warfare 2 cheesy Javelin exploiters but overall it’s best for the entire MW2 community.
All in all, Infinity Ward did a good job for responding immediately over this issue. Cheating doesn’t feel good especially if you’re on the other end of stick – the one getting owned. So if you’re curious to try the infamous Javelin supernova glitch you could learn it via our video tutorial. Just remember, you can only use it on PS3 (for the meantime) since they didn’t impose the ban unlike on Xbox 360. You might end up getting your Xbox live account suspended.

As expected, Infinity Ward via its community manager – Robert “fourzerotwo” Bowling announces that a javelin patch for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox 360 is on its way. Similar with PS3 1.06 patch, Microsoft Xbox 360 Modern warfare 2 version will get the same patch to correct the supernova exploit as well as the Multiple Care package glitch – another exploit for mass killing on multiplayer mode. Care to learn how to do this cheat? FYI, there’s little time left for you to utilize it with your gameplay since Microsoft is already working on the final certification of the latest MW2 patch.

Robert “fourzerotwo” Bowling revealed from his twitter that patch 1.06 that aims to end Javelin glitch for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 passed certification from Microsoft for Xbox 360. The patch will be implemented later today. Unfortunately, MW2 who have been exploiting the Javelin glitch would end their “domination” in the game arena. Oh, we forgot to mention that Xbox has been actively suspending and banning gamers who use this cheat. Anyway, this is somehow a “good” news to Modern Warfare 2 community.
