A new brand of television that features a one-stop-shop for TV contents and services is breaking loose after Best Buy’s blessing. cTV TiVo, an Insignia-branded, is suited for non-DVR software and connected in real-time to the internet bypassing smart TVs popularity in digital-watching world.

It features the search function, music streaming, video on demand and integrated guide for a really enjoying and exciting television experience. Best Buy is known for retailing electronic goods in the US and has various subsidiaries that can offer extended services to the HDTV such as CinemaNow for movie videos and Magnolia Audio Video. It is also credited with delivering Napster music streaming services.
The cTV TiVo HDTV is offered in 32” and 42” versions and expected to go out on July 31 without any hint on the price. Speculations have it that no subscription is required. An interesting feature is its ability to stream contents which are DVR recorded from a separate location within a home. Connectivity to a home network is possible thru its built-in WiFi, search category includes movie title, author and more, the user interface is conveniently intuitive and last but not the least, the HD is absolutely stunning for a wide home theater system.
Price and details, however, are awaiting revelations for now.
