We are very excited to share with our readers about Intel’s next-gen processor that will replace the current Intel Pine Trail platform. The Intel Cedar Trail M Platform will feature full HD wireless video stream that will probably makes its debut on the forthcoming Intel Developer Forum in Beijing.

A few tech sites have been talking about Intel’s next-gen of portable processors for a while now. Recent information suggests that the new Intel Atom platform will be having the 32nm-based Cedarview CPU with focus on supporting on new technologies including full HD wireless display support. The new Intel Cedar Trail platform will feature full-HD (1080p) WiDi support which is a great improvement from the 720p being supported by its current line of notebooks.

In order to stream full HD videos from a notebook a user, however, may need to connect a set top box to the HDTV. The set top box will act as the receiver for the HD content from the notebook. The advantage of this configuration is that DRM-encrypted videos/media can now be streamed.
Meanwhile, we’re expecting more information to be revealed about the next-gen Intel Cedar Trail platform come IDF 2011. Particularly, we’re curious to know about this information suggesting that the next gen of Intel Atom platform (most probably pertaining to Cedar Trail) will have “cool and quiet fanless netbook designs”. If that is true then that will pave way for lighter and more efficient netbook gadgets.
