Coming hot from a previous PR statement, the company reveals its Intel Core i7 990x extreme edition CPU which is already overclocked up to 4.6GHz. But that’s not all! As you can see, its real power not only comes from how many gigahertz it have on its arsenal but rather, how many cores does it have?
Well, feast your eyes as Origin reveals one of the first 6-core processor in the industry in which it’s available on every living and breathing laptops, desktop computers the company has. In addition to that, there will be added goodies included in this package like “expert liquid cooling” service, hyper-threading technology to maximize multitasking up to six cores and 12 threads of computing technology, triple channel support to increase your DDE3 memory channel and supports up to 12MB cache.
Anyway, with great power comes a great amount of price! As the Core i7 990x will set you back for a price of 1,050 USD which is already available via online dealers like Newegg and Mwave. Anyway, the price is still pretty considerate since its previous model, Core i7-980 is already tagged at 1K bucks!
