So apparently there’s a light with our report last week, about a recent rumor of Apple going to held an event on November (particularly on the 8th) to officially announce the forthcoming of iOS 4.2 to its iDevices.

While this one has been previewed a couple of times coming from a teaser presentation on last September’s music event, the list of devices that’s going to be supported by this new platform is not yet disclosed. At this point, you can assume that Apple will start to eliminate its support on devices that don’t have any A4 Chip (e.g: iPod Touch 3G/2G, iPhone 3GS/3G) thus making some of the consumers infuriated again. Needless to say, its part of the trending move of Apple towards its devices and just in case you have an old iDevice that you still want to use, there’s a whole world of 3rd party community out there ready to support you.
As for the full list of iOS 4.2 features, here it is: Improve multitasking, sorting of folders, AirPrint, AirPlay, improved game center, even better mail, find text on web pages, enhanced enterprise support, accessibility enhancements plus keyboard and dictionary upgrades.
All in all, this iOS 4.2 is what you call another must-have feature for Apple owners who wants to be updated with the coolest features Apple is about to give. But then again, there’s a price you need to pay and that is you need to make sure your phone is always on the current generation. Speaking of which, that iPhone 5 is just around the corner already.
Updates: The apple software update confirms that the iOS 4.2 will come soon on November, check out the link!
